What styles of tattoos do you do?

I work in a variety of tattoo styles and enjoy collaborating on ideas that challenge me creatively.

While I’m always open to new concepts, I’m currently placing a stronger focus on the following styles:

  • Illustrative realism

  • Realism

  • Micro-Realism

  • Ornamental

  • Illustrative

  • Neotraditional

How long will my tattoo take?

Tattoo time can vary based on factors like size, detail, and placement, so it’s difficult to give a general estimate. Feel free to email me, and I’ll be happy to provide a more personalized time estimate.

Can I use Numbing Products?

This is a more nuanced topic than can be fully covered here.

The short answer is that there is always some level of risk associated with numbing creams. When used correctly, they may not cause issues; however, my personal preference is that clients do not apply numbing products prior to their appointment.

If you feel strongly about using a numbing product, please email me in advance so we can discuss which options I’m comfortable working with.

Bactine is available and can be used throughout the tattoo process as needed.

WHat is your deposit policy?

A deposit is required to secure ALL appointments.

A $100 deposit is required for tattoos quoted at one hour or less.

Tattoos quoted over one hour require a $200 deposit.

Deposits act as a commitment on both sides. My schedule is built around individual appointments, and your deposit ensures that your time is reserved and that I will be present, prepared, and ready for you when you arrive. I also recognize that many clients take time off work or make special arrangements to attend their appointment, and I truly appreciate that mutual respect for time.

After your appointment date is confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice by email to submit your deposit. This is currently the method used for all deposit payments.

72-hours notice is required for all reschedules/ cancellations otherwise this can result in a lost deposit.

This can be flexible in the winter depending on weather as I want all my clients to stay safe when the driving conditions are not.

All deposits are non-refundable.

What should I do to prepare for my Tattoo appointment?

The most important things you can do to prepare for your tattoo appointment are to eat beforehand and arrive well-hydrated.

A few additional things to keep in mind:

  • Wear clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.
For example: shorts for leg tattoos, a tank top for arms, or adaptable layers for torso pieces. If you’re having your back tattooed, a zip-up sweater or flannel worn backwards can keep you comfortable while allowing access to the area.

  • For longer sessions, consider bringing water and snacks. Snacks with some sugar are especially helpful for maintaining your energy levels.

  • Moisturizing the area in the weeks leading up to your appointment can make a big difference. Well-hydrated skin helps the tattoo process go more smoothly.

Preparing in these simple ways helps ensure a more comfortable experience for both you and your artist.

Can I change my mind on the tattoo design?

Absolutely — this is your tattoo, and my goal is to bring your vision to life. If you’re having second thoughts or would like to make significant changes to your idea, I kindly ask that you let me know at least a week before your scheduled appointment so I have adequate time to revise the design.

Small adjustments can always be made on the day of your appointment, and I encourage you to speak up if you have any questions or concerns. Open communication helps ensure the best possible outcome.

Can I move the Stencil?

Yes — absolutely. When it comes to stenciling, please don’t hesitate to ask for adjustments. Whether you’d like the design slightly larger or smaller, shifted a bit, or repositioned, I want you to feel confident and happy with the placement.

I’ll always share my professional suggestions on what I think works best, especially when it comes to longevity and how a tattoo will age. That said, this is your tattoo, and one of the most common regrets I hear from clients is wishing they had spoken up during the stenciling process. Open communication is always encouraged.

Do you tattoo unusual Placements?

I have a strong appreciation for technically challenging placements, including fingers, hands, palms, ears, and the soles of the feet. I’ve dedicated time and care to learning how to tattoo these areas properly—placements that not all artists offer.

If you’re interested in a truly unique tattoo in one of these locations, I’d be happy to discuss it with you.

Are there any Places that you wont tattoo?

There are certain placements I’m not comfortable tattooing. These include the eyelids or surrounding eye area, the sclera (white of the eye), the inside of the mouth, and the genital area (for all genders). Tattoos on the nipples and areolas are welcome.

do you do cover up tattoos?

Yes, I do take on cover-up and rework projects. These tattoos can be complex, and full coverage isn’t always possible. In some cases, achieving the best result may require multiple sessions or prior laser removal.

If you’re interested in a cover-up, please email me a clear photo of the existing tattoo along with any ideas you have, and we can discuss what options may be available.

Will you tattoo someone else's design for me?

In most cases, the answer to this question is no. I design all of my work myself and take great pride in creating original, custom pieces.

That said, there are a few exceptions. Designs created by a child or family member may be considered, provided they are tattooable (some adjustments may be necessary). I may also consider designs from another artist if they are geographically inaccessible to you and written consent from the original artist is provided.

Are the inks you use vegan?

Yes, the tattoo inks that I use are all from Industry Inks or Fusion both of which are Vegan and not tested on animals.

HOw can I keep Up to date with what you are up to?

There are a few great ways to keep up with my work. Instagram is the best place to see my most recent tattoos — I post multiple times a week and regularly share available designs that are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

For updates on the business side of things, including travel dates, exclusive offerings, and special promotions, you can subscribe to my newsletter. It’s sent out on the first of each month and includes a discounted Bird of the Month.

Newsletter subscribers are also the first to hear about giveaways and other updates.

Do you have anything for sale that isn't tattoos?

Yes — I currently offer hoodies, t-shirts, and an assortment of stickers. New merchandise is released periodically, so feel free to check back for updates.

I also take on commissions for digital drawings when my schedule allows. Prices for those vary based on complexity.
